Calf Creek in Escalante

This last week we went to Calf Creek for a Russell Despain reunion. We had a lot of fun!!! Each day all the families were in charge of a different activity. My parents and my sister Robin were one group and they did a blow dart contest. There were 5 teams and we were each a different color. My team was green, Isaac's was blue. Anyway, there was a board with different colored balloons on it. Whatever color was left was the team that won! It was a lot of fun. Isaac's team won of course because it had him AND Tony on it, and they were the best ones!. Another day, my sister's family did a totem pole making competition, in honor of the totem poles my dad made when he was a kid, for scouts. They made real ones out of wood, but we just made ones out of cardboard. And then our activity was a rock stacking contest. There were 4 teams, team captains were my brothers, and everyone had 20 minutes to gather and stack rocks as high as they could. Tony, Steve, Amy and Marion's group won. That was a blast, and they got bubble wands as their prize! Along with all those activities, we also went on the hike to calf creek falls which is absolutely beautiful! If any of you have never been to calf creek, it is highly reccommended!

Floyd

This is a post about my dog Floyd. He is one of the cutest dogs in the world. He is a Labrador Retriever, He is mostly white with some yellow. This past weekend we took him to Southern Utah with our family and he did SO GOOD!!! He is only a year, so he still acts like a puppy sometimes, and we were a little worried about how he would be with all the kids. (All of the nieces and nephews on my side were there.) He would let them play with them, and he was gentle and didn't knock them over once! He did knock over my Grandma though, but that's because her dog was tangled up with ours, honest mistake, right Floyd?? Anyway, we love our dog, and we're glad that he'll probably be a good boy with the new baby!

Here is my first post! Let's see, what should I write about... Well, we may be moving to Eagle Mountain. We have someone that is going to buy our house so now we are just trying to find a house in Eagle Mountain. We would move there because it is closer to Isaac's work and we'd have a much bigger house. The downside that it isn't close to anything so we'll have to go a ways just to do anything, but we'd have a lot bigger house!!! Does anyone know how to make my blog cuter? UPDATE: We are staying in Taylorsville! No moving for us, maybe in a few years.
