Charlotte's First Haircut

As you can see, Charlotte's hair has grown a little unevenly, so we needed to even it up just a little bit.  What a cutie pie!  Thanks for your help mom! (May '12)

Silver Lake May 2012

We did a fun little hike around Silver Lake in Big Cottonwood Canyon in May.  We took the stroller and had to carry it through some snow sometimes, but we had a really good time anyway!  We sure love enjoying the outdoors when it starts to get warmer!

Lisa Falls

On May 28th 2012 we did a little hike in Little Cottonwood Canyon called Lisa Falls.  We were loving the warm weather!!!  It was a short little hike with a whole bunch of inch worms and big black beetles.  On our way down we stopped off at the place that Isaac proposed to me.  It's just a little nook off the side of the road near the bottom of Little Cottonwood Canyon.  Thanks for proposing to my Isaac!  Now we have the cutest girls in the world!  Also, if you look closely at my neck in the last picture, you can see an inch worm...

Garden Planting

This year we planted corn, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, green peppers, onions, cabbage and pumpkins.  It's so fun to watch things grow and then eat them!  We learned a few things this year...  We need to plant less pumpkin plants, because they took over the garden.  Also, we won't plant Armenian cucumbers next year, because they aren't our favorite.  Also, 4 Zucchini plants might be a little too much...   Other than that, it was a great success and we had yummy vegetables throughout the summer!

Easter 2012

We had so much fun this year!  We had two Easter egg hunts.  One was in Saratoga Springs at Jesyca and Jason's house and one was at my brother's farm in Fillmore.  Sarah even got the Silver prize egg that had a whole dollar bill in it!  We also got to dye Easter Eggs and my girls wore matching Easter dresses.  Sarah also gave her first talk in primary on Easter Sunday.  It was on following Jesus' Example and she had it all memorized!  Everyone was quite impressed.  I told them that it was nothing I did, it was all her.  We went over it a couple of times and she had it memorized.  She was not shy AT ALL!  She marched right up there and gave her talk and made sure to tell me that she could do it herself!  I hope she never loses that confidence!

St. Patrick's Day 2012

We had a sneaky leprechaun come to our house again!  This time he left gold dust to follow instead of footprints.  I think his feet remembered how hard it was to make perfectly green footprints to follow last year, so he opted for gold dust.  The girls loved finding their pot of rainbow and gold things at the end of the gold dust trail!  Then we had our "green" meal that night consisting of honey lime enchiladas, leprechaun punch, and green oreo trifle, with kiwi shamrocks.  We had so much fun!
