5 new posts up!

Easter

It was nice to have Easter land on Conference Sunday this year because it seemed less stressful. I loved being able to stay at home and listen to the talks. It was all very inspiring. I think my favorite talk was Elder Bednar's, but there were a lot I really loved!

She had just eaten a yellow peep, that's what is on her mouth. I liked this picture because I think she looks more like me in this one! (I have some pictures from when I was little that look like this.)

Nielsen Easter Egg hunt. Sarah had her own special egg. Nana also did a great presentation using Easter eggs that told the story of when Jesus was Resurrected.

Aquarium

We also got to go to the aquarium for Isaac's spring break. It was fun!
Octopus
Touching the sting rays. (This was probably Sarah's favorite part)

Happy Birthday to me

On the 18th I turned 26 and luckily Isaac had spring break and work off. This is the first year where I haven't really wanted to be a year older. Oh well. It was a fun birthday. I woke up to the floors and surfaces COVERED in confetti. Isaac had done it during the night. There are a couple funny stories that involve the confetti. In the middle of the night Floyd woke me up to let him out and when I got to the stairs I thought Floyd had thrown up ALL OVER the stairs, turns out it was just confetti, but I was a little out of it and was amazed that Floyd could get his vomit on every part of the stair case. Also, Sarah loved all the confetti and balloons but when she saw that her princess chair was covered in confetti she said, "Awwwww, chair!" and started brushing it all off. I guess she didn't like it on there and felt bad for her chair. We went to Jungle Jim's playland, ate and Jimmy John's for lunch, and then Isaac and I went out to Asian Star for dinner, it was a fun day!

I think it's funny that the people let me ride this ride because I could not fit in it! (That is why my leg is hanging out.) I thought I was going to break it.

Sarah loved this place, she was not one bit scared to ride any of the rides by herself. It was pretty cheap entertainment because she got an all day pass for $5.50 and we rode for free!
These were the rainbow cupcakes I made for St. Patrick's Day/My Birthday. They were so yummy and moist! The frosting was really good also, because it wasn't too sweet, just sweet enough. I always crave them when I see this picture, so I'd better stop looking at it. You can get the recipes here and here. (I really like this recipe blog)

St. Patrick's Day

On St. Patrick's day we went to the children's museum because it was free. Then we went to get sushi at Benihana with some friends, it was our first time eating sushi and it was pretty good! Isaac doesn't like seaweed so he didn't like it too much. Next time he'll get it with soy paper.
Posing with her green clothes
Leprechaun footprints!
If you look really closely, the leprechaun wrote "ha ha ha" in green in the side of the bathtub.
"Go find more" is what we would say over and over.
and in the other bathroom

He left us a pot of gold with green and rainbow colored things!
After we went in the hunt, Sarah would find random pieces of paper (wrappers, garbage, etc.) on the floor and get really excited and say "more?"

Children's Museum

We went to to Children's Museum with our play group back in March. Sarah had a BLAST! She probably would have stayed there, content to play all day, without stopping for food or water.
"ball in there" That's what Sarah is said when she saw this picture
Food shopping

Playing with water
Just her size tree hut. I would have loved one of these as a kid. One of my friends had a two story playhouse and I was so jealous of it. That is why I'm going to build one of those when we are living in our permanent house. You can hold me to it if you want to :)
Bored on a horse.
