Quiet Book

This is going to be my next craft project! I've been wanting to make one of these and I found this blog with really good ideas for one. If you're interested all of the info is on: quietbook.blogspot.com
I'm excited!

Wuvs Day

We had a good Valentine's Day this year. I got Isaac some of his favorite treats, and he got me roses, and he got Sarah a fabric flower that she could play with. We didn't want to spend a whole lot this year because we are trying to save money. We went to the mall to look at stuff, and pick out chocolates at Sees. We then went over to Red Lobster, and it was a 2 hour wait. We knew it would be long because we went last year, but we got there early this year, and it was still a two hour wait. So we decided to have a romantic evening at home with some cafe rio and a movie. I actually quite enjoyed the whole day, low key but fun and relaxing!

Here are the roses that Isaac got me:

Ode to Isaac.

Well, Isaac has been gone to Las Vegas for work this week, and I really miss him. So, because Valentine's day is coming up, and I miss him, and he's hott, I thought I would do a little post about the best husband I could ever ask for! So, here are just a few things that I love about Isaac.

-He makes me laugh like no one can. Sometimes we will just sit in bed and laugh for hours about stupid stupid things. Seriously, if there were a camera and someone else could hear all the things we laugh about, and all the weird faces we make, you would pretty much think we were insane. This is why we are perfect for eachother :)
-He is the BEST Dad for our little girl that I could EVER ask for. He has always been so good with kids, and it is so great! I am so lucky!
-He is so creative! He comes up with the best things to make me feel special! ie: We had a pumpkin carving contest when he proposed. We each had a stencil picked out, and we went to work, and whoever carved it the best, won! Well, he actually didn't use his stencil, he carved "marry me" on the pumpkin, and then he proposed! I loved it! For Valentine's day when we were dating, he wrote me a song on the guitar. Another Valentine's day he sent me on a scavenger hunt for all my favorite treats, and connected to each treat was a puzzle piece. When I put the puzzle together, it told me where to find my Valentine's gift. There are so many other really cute, creative things Isaac has done for me, and I feel so lucky!
-He is good at EVERYTHING he does! I'm serious. He is a very frequent winner of games and other new challenges that he has never done before.
-I think he's so HOTT when he plays the drums.
-I also think he's so HOTT when he plays Pink Floyd on the guitar, and sings also.
-Isaac likes Christmas probably as much as I do, and that really makes things fun!
-He works so hard so I can stay home with our girl, and that makes him my Man hero!
-He is so calm under pressure.
-He is really good at reasoning things out with me, and de-stressing me.
-He has a strong testimony, and honors his priesthood. He knows a lot more about doctrine than I do, and I'm grateful to have that source of knowledge so close to me.
-He is very smart, and when he doesn't know something, he will figure it out.
-He is a lot more "street smart" than I am.
-He is VERY considerate of others. That was kind of an eye opener when we got married because he is so aware of everything that is going on around him, and how it will affect me or other people. I'm not so great at that. Sometimes I'm pretty oblivious of what is going on around me, but he's helped me be better at it.

I really could go on and on because he is just so great! I love you Sweetie. You're my favorite sweetie I ever had!
Love, your wife

Sarah is officially rolling over!

At 5 months, 7 days Sarah is officially rolling over!!! I don't need to worry any longer. I was putting her to bed, and I thought I'd get in some last "tummy time" and there she went! I went to get the camera and came back to find her contentedly on her tummy because she found her hands to suck on, so I had to wait a little while to catch it on camera, but she did it again! Yay Sarah! Thanks for not letting Mommy worry too long...

P.S. She will NOT smile for the camera, she is just too interested in it, so if you see a picture with her smiling, you know there was a lot of hard work to get the shot.

5 Months Old Today

One of my friends did a post about all her little girl's favorite things because she is turning 5 months soon also. I thought it was a good idea, so I'm going to do it for Sarah also! I'll call it

Sarah's top 10!

10. She loves to scream, blow bubbles, and fake cough to get attention.
9. She LOVES sucking on her hands, sometime just a few fingers, sometimes her entire hand, and sometimes both hands.
8. Her favorite food right now is rice cereal, and eats like a pro! She is a really good eater, and I think would eat forever if I let her. Uh oh.
7. She loves to watch baby Einstein Beethoven
6. She hates nursing.
5. She doesn't like it when her headband goes over her eyes, which happens a lot, but she doesn't complain a whole lot about it, so sometimes I have no idea how long she's been sitting there with her headband over her eyes. I guess she's just learned to deal eh?
4. She will always calm down when Mommy sings to her.
3. She still isn't rolling over yet, and despite lots of floor time and tummy time, she doesn't really try very much either, oh well... Mommy isn't going to worry until the doctor tells her to ;)
2. Every time Floyd walks by, her hand instantly reach out toward him and she smiles, I don't think we even make her do that :) (I think it's his tickly whiskers that she remembers)
1. She LOVES her daddy, because he can make her laugh like no one can!

P.S. my camera ran out of battery, so I'll have to post a picture tomorrow

And here's one with her headband over her eyes:

Poor Girl.

I need to get a picture of her whole hand in her mouth also, when I do, I'll post it, oh and I'll try to get one of the fake cough Amy!! hehe.

Exclamation Point Abuse

So... I abuse exclamation points, and I don't really know how to stop. Does anyone else suffer from this? Seriously, when I write things, I do it with way too many exclamation points. Where there should be a period, I put an exclamation point. Where there should be an exclamation point, I put three exclamation points, sometimes even six of them!!!!!! Sometimes I will sit and ponder something I have just written to someone, and try to think of how I can delete some exclamation points, but I just can't do it. I feel like I'm not expressing enough emotion if I don't use every single one of them. I realize that a period should be expressing the correct emotion that I truly am feeling, in a lot of situations, but I've abused the exclamation point for so long, it has become a period to me. Does anyone else have this problem?!!!!!!???!!!!!????!!!!!!
