New Years Eve 2012 - New Years Day 2013
We did our New Years Eve party at Nana and Papa's. They know how to throw a party! We had lots of great appetizers, played lots of games, and played with our cousins! Our kids stayed up all the way until midnight. We shot off some party poppers, and there were fireworks going off outside Nana and Papa's door. This was the 2nd year we did this, and we love it!
Happy New Year!
Family Picture 2012
My sister took our pictures again this year, and she did an awesome job once again! We went to Gardner Village. I'm so glad she is willing to do that for us every year.
Christmas 2012
Showing off Santa's kiss
Santa's kiss is on her cheek
Grandpa has made all the grand kids a wood duck, and Charlotte received hers this Christmas.
My Mom made us matching aprons.
This is the first year April and I decided to limit our spending to each other to $10, and make our gifts. I really like this new tradition, because I like giving hand made gifts because it's more exciting to give. You put more time and effort into it. It's so funny because we gave each other the same gifts, scarves, and those earrings are almost exactly the same. We had no idea what we were giving eachother.
We had such a fun Christmas! We opened up our presents from Santa at
our house, and then we headed over to my parent's house so they could
open theirs. Then we headed to Isaac's parent's so they could open theirs from us. The girls were so good, and they made it on Santa's nice list and got what they asked for! I got Isaac an electric guitar, and he didn't even know he wanted it. It has gotten a lot of use though.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Christmas Eve 2012
12/24/12
We had a great time at Jesyca and Jason's house for Christmas Eve this year. We had lots of good food, played lots of games, and got to see the kids put on a puppet show. Most people went home to have their own Christmas dinner, but we stayed and shared a Ham dinner with the Hauers. So much fun!
Stockings
12/21/12
These are the stockings that I made for our family this year. It was really fun to learn how to free motion quilt!
Sarah's Pre-School Christmas Program
12/17/12
Sarah had a little Pre-School Christmas program. She had a line she had to memorize for it, and she performed it flawlessly :) She also did a little gifts exchange with all the kids in her class, and Santa came to visit.

Gingerbread Houses
12/8/12
We made Gingerbread houses on Saturday December 8th, and the girls LOVED it! They also loved eating the candy as they were making them. We watched Elf while we decorated also. I made all the houses beforehand and hot glued them together. It made for a stress free time. I think I'll be doing that from now on.
Nutcracker 2012
12/7/12
Sarah performed in the nutcracker as a sugar plum fairy. She did so good! It was her very first dance performance. It was so fun to see her do the dance moves she had been showing us for weeks, up on stage. She is such a social butterfly, and made many friends in her class. One night, Sarah woke up from bed and came to me, patted her heart and said, "Jasmine is in my heart." She was talking about her friend Jasmine that she met in dance class. She is a sweet heart! She also, of course, loves Keira, and they are the best of friends! Thanks to Nana and Papa for coming and supporting her and sitting through the entire 3 hour performance, and for bringing flowers for Sarah. She felt so special!
Temple Square Lights/Robin's performance
11/30/12
We love going to see the lights every year. We try to go see them when Robin performs with her Special Needs Institute choir. It is so fun to see her perform, and she loves it when we come see her!
Witches Tea 2012
Oct '12
Just wanted to document our Witches Tea for 2012. It's a little out of order, but I don't know how to change the order of posts. Anyway, we do this every year, and I look forward to it so much! We always have a really great time, and laugh our heads off! I love this group of ladies!
Thanksgiving 2012
11/22/12
It was so nice that Thanksgiving was the earliest it can be this year. We spent it at my Mom and Dad's house, and it was a grand ol' feast! When everyone was done, and we were sitting around talking, Anna found Charlotte and Danae in the kitchen with some spilled juice. They were so funny slurping it up together. These two love to play together!
