Sarah's first steps 8/23/09
11 months
Sarah is my sweet baby girl who is turning into a toddler. It makes me a little sad, but it's also so fun to see her learn and grow. At 11 months she crawls all over the place, cruises the furniture like crazy, she jabbers a whole bunch of words (she doesn't really know the meaning of). She waves, gives high fives, has just started to clap on command, and give kisses on command. I can't believe she will be one in less than 10 days!!! Being a parent is the best role in life thus far!! We just LOVE this girl! (These pictures were taken when she was 11 months and one day)
Anderson Reunion in Heber
We go to the Heber Valley Camp every year for our Anderson Reunion. It's always a lot of fun!
Sarah's first pigtails
I remember I couldn't wait for Sarah's hair to grow. I'm so excited I can now put pigtails in her hair!

Girl's Camp
Tweedle Dum, and Tweedle Dee in our skit Alice's Adventures in Timberland. Such a fun and funny skit!
We had girl's camp the week after we got back from Oregon, so I was cramming to get prepared. Our theme was Camp R.O.C.K.S standing for Relying On Christ's Knowing Shoulders. We had so much fun! Our ward was "The WHO". "Who are we?" Daughters of God!!! Anyway, it was a lot of fun! Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so I'm taking these pictures from Haley! Thanks Haley!4th of July
I love the 4th of July. This year we traveled for the first part of the day, but we got home in time to go see fireworks at Murray Park. That is a yearly tradition. On Sunday we had a red, white and blue trifle with strawberries, blueberries, angel food cake, vanilla pudding, and whipped cream. It was really yummy, and I would like to make that a tradition also! Here Sarah is enjoying her first fireworks. She was mesmerized the whole time, and didn't make a peep!
Oregon Part III
Deep sea fishing
So, all my brothers, Dad, brother-in-law, and Isaac decided to try deep sea fishing. Some think it was a BIG mistake, while others enjoyed themselves. They will always have stories to tell though. My brother Matt was one of the ones that got hit the worst. He threw up a number of times, and even fainted. My brother-in-law Steve even tried to bribe a few people to end the trip early, he got the sea sickness pretty bad also. So did my Dad, Isaac, and Ben. Jason and Tony said they were fine. It was fun to hear their stories, but I will spare you the descriptions! The fish that they caught was by far the best I've ever tasted, and I think most agreed with me.
Kite making contest. It didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. The wind in Lincoln City ripped the homemade kites to shreds. It was really funny though. The contest categories were 1. Best Design 2. The kite that was flying the highest at the end of 2 minutes. and 3. Kite battle. The kite that stays up the longest, and kites could fight each other. We didn't get the kites up very well, and they were pretty ripped to shreds after the 2nd contest. It was pretty funny though.

Oregon Part II
Oregon is supposed to be the kite flying capital of the world, so Isaac and my brothers had a blast!! It would pull them in the sand 100 feet or so.
Setting up.
We also went crabbing, and Isaac and I LOVE crab, so we were excited to do this, and to eat them. We had a good time.
Getting the traps ready
pulling another batch in. Jason, Anna, and Isaac were the only ones with licenses so they were the only ones who got to reel them in. That's OK though, just as long as I can eat some crab.
